For those that have been out of town over the holidays, this week we feature Kevin Firouzian’s  photograph of Central London, as a welcome back.

Kevin said: “Here I wanted to mainly focus on the signs and just show how the London Eye is creeping up behind the building in the background. Since I was using a mobile phone camera it was pretty difficult to get some nice bokeh-effect. Added some blurring in PS and worked a with the RGB-levels and Saturation in Lightroom in post-ed. Colourful, Positive, Fun.”

Each week we open up our centre spread to submissions from photographers. Submissions can be of anything you like. Perhaps you’ve taken a really nice photo that reflects what’s been happening in student news. Perhaps you’ve taken something more artistic and abstract. Regardless, each submission will be judged on its aesthetic merits and the fortnightly winner will be featured here.
