Song challenge day one: favourite song

And so it begins. The 30 day music challenge against Felix Newspaper.

To even attempt to choose a ‘favourite’ song is to entirely ignore the emotional, situational and contextual importance of music and how that affects what an individual’s favourite song is at different points in their life, or even just at different times of the day.

This track is an absolute classic though and certainly deserves to be a contender for London Student’s favourite song. Not only do the lyrics articulate a beautiful point but the rhythm and beat serve to alleviate even the worst of moods and hopefully add a silver lining to the cloudiest of days.
